Commercial moving

Move the Business Without Closing It.

Offices, retail units and warehouses across St. George, Washington and Cedar City — moved in the evening, over a weekend, or in phases, so you are trading again on Monday.

Quoted per job after a walkthrough. Evenings and weekends available.

The real cost of an office move

The moving invoice is the small number

The expensive part of relocating a business is not the truck. It is fourteen people unable to work on Monday morning because the network rack is still on a pallet, or a shop floor that cannot open on Saturday because the fixtures went on the truck in the wrong order.

That is why commercial jobs get planned rather than just booked. We walk the current site and the new one, agree what moves in which order, label by destination room rather than by origin, and sequence the load so the things you need first come off first.

For most Southern Utah businesses that means a Friday evening start and a Sunday finish. For a larger warehouse or a phased office it means several passes, and we would rather find that out at the survey than at eight o’clock on the Saturday.

How we keep downtime down

What a planned commercial move looks like

  • A walkthrough of both sites before anything is quoted
  • Out-of-hours scheduling — evenings, weekends, or phased across several nights
  • Everything labelled by destination room, so nothing needs sorting on arrival
  • Desks and workstations broken down and rebuilt, not carried assembled through doorways
  • Filing and records kept in order and moved sealed
  • IT equipment padded, boxed and kept together rather than spread across the load
  • Stock and fixtures loaded in the order the new floor needs them
  • Lifts, loading bays and building access confirmed with the property manager in advance

Kinds of commercial job

Ongoing work

Not every commercial job is a relocation

A good share of our commercial work is not moving a business at all — it is the recurring runs. Store deliveries, Costco pick-ups, furniture dropped to a customer’s home on a retailer’s behalf, and regular collections for local consignment stores.

If you are a Southern Utah retailer without your own delivery vehicle, that is a standing arrangement rather than a quote each time. See store deliveries and pickups.

Commercial moving questions

Can you move us outside business hours?

Yes — most of our commercial work is evenings and weekends, because that is the point. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is standard for commercial jobs rather than a premium add-on we spring on you afterwards.

Do you disconnect and reconnect computers?

We disconnect, pad, box, transport and place IT equipment, and we keep it together rather than scattered through the load. Reconnecting a network, a server rack or a phone system is your IT provider’s job and we will coordinate the timing with them so they are not waiting on us.

How much notice do you need?

More than a house move. The survey, the sequencing and the building access all take lead time, and out-of-hours slots are finite. Three to six weeks is comfortable; call sooner if you have a lease end fixed.

Can you move a warehouse with racking and stock?

Yes. Racking, fixtures and palletised stock are all routine — see retail and warehouse moving. Tell us at the survey how inventory is tracked so we can keep it in order rather than handing you a reconciliation job.

What does a commercial move cost?

It is quoted per job, after the walkthrough. Commercial work varies too much for an hourly figure to mean anything useful up front, and a number quoted before anyone has seen the site is a number that changes.
