Serving Southern Utah since 2012
Your Move, Our Priority.

Free estimates, no obligation. Mon–Sat, with evening and weekend scheduling.

What we do
Six things, done properly
Most of Southern Utah’s moves are one of these. If yours is a combination, that is normal — say so and we will price the whole thing.
Residential Moving
Houses, apartments and condos across the valley. Packed, loaded, driven and set down where you want it.
Long-Distance Moving
Out of state or up the I-15 corridor, on one truck with one crew — no transfer to a stranger halfway.
Commercial Moving
Offices, retail and warehouses moved around your trading hours instead of through them.
Packing Services
The whole house, or just the kitchen and the fragile things. Materials included, labelled by room.
Specialty & Heavy Items
Pianos, gun safes, hot tubs and pool tables — on proper equipment, by people who have done it before.
Junk Removal & Delivery
Clear the garage before you pay to move it. Donation runs, dump runs and single-item deliveries.
Why people call us back
A family business, not a franchise
Justin and Miranda Ruuth started Just-In-Time Moving in 2012, and it has stayed a family business the whole way through.
That matters on a moving job more than it sounds like it should. The crews are our own, background-checked and trained by us — not day labour hired for your Saturday. The person quoting your move is the person accountable for it. And after fourteen years in this valley, we have already been inside most of the building types here: the three-storey walk-ups, the gated communities with a delivery window, the Cedar City student flats every August, the retirement villas with a narrow turn into the drive.
We are also not going to pretend we have never had a bad day. There is one review out there about a scheduling failure, and it is fair. What we can tell you is what the other 266 say, and that we would rather tell you the truth about a tight date than take the booking and hope.

What customers actually said
Quoted word for word from public reviews. We have not tidied them up.
Best moving company I have ever had. These guys took a stressful situation and made it easy. Well done Just in Time Moving!
We have used Just-In Time moving twice now and will NEVER use anyone else! Super fast, efficient, and every worker we've met has been so kind!
Justin and his crew were punctual and professional. They took great care of all our belongings and made sure everything was placed where we desired.
How it works
Four steps, no surprises
1. Free estimate
Tell us the rooms, the addresses and the date. Big or awkward jobs get a walkthrough — in person or over video — because guessing is how a quote goes wrong.
2. Book the date
We confirm crew size and the arrival window in writing. Peak weekends and month-ends go early, so the sooner the date is held the better.
3. We do the work
Furniture blanket-wrapped and shrink-wrapped, floors protected with runners, boxes stacked and squared off so nothing shifts on the road.
4. Settle in
Everything placed in the room you want it, beds rebuilt, and the packing debris taken away if you would rather not deal with it.

Where we work
Across Southern Utah, from Beaver down to the Arizona line
Thirty-seven towns and communities across five counties, plus Mesquite just over the Nevada border.
Moving between Southern Utah and the Salt Lake area? We run that corridor ourselves — see Southern to Northern Utah moves, or go straight to our Northern Utah site.
Common questions
What does a move cost?
Local moves are billed hourly with a crew size agreed up front. Tell us what you're moving and we'll quote it.
Long-distance moves are quoted per job rather than by the hour, because the drive, the crew and the delivery window all change the number. Either way you get the figure before you book, not after the truck is loaded.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks is comfortable. Month-ends, the first weekend of the month and the August student turnover in Cedar City are the busiest windows in Southern Utah, and those fill first. If your date is tight, call rather than emailing — we can usually tell you in a minute whether it is possible.
Do you move pianos, gun safes and hot tubs?
Yes, and they are quoted separately from the rest of the move because they need different equipment and often a bigger crew. Tell us the type and where it is going — a baby grand down a staircase and an upright on a ground floor are very different jobs. See specialty moving.
Can you store our things between closings?
Yes. When the sale and the purchase do not line up, we can hold your belongings and deliver them when the new place is ready — see storage in transit.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, and our crews are background-checked. We are not publishing licence or DOT numbers on this page until we can show the current ones exactly as issued — ask and we will send them through with your estimate.
Do you cover Salt Lake, Provo or Ogden?
Not as a local service area — that is Northern Utah, and it has its own site and crews. We do run moves along the corridor in both directions as long-distance jobs.
Tell us what you are moving.
Rooms, addresses and a rough date is enough to get a real number. Call and you will usually get an answer the same day.
