What should be on the truck

The dimensions of the tub, rather than how many it seats. The narrowest point of the entire route, with an actual number. What the surface is between the spa and where a truck can park. Whether it sits in a deck surround. Whether it is hard-wired. And whether there is a base ready at the destination.
If a company quotes from the words hot tub without any of that, the figure is a guess.
Warning signs
No interest in photographs. No mention of an electrician. Surprise at the question of what equipment they bring. And a quote that does not distinguish between a tub with clear access and one behind a narrow gate, since those are genuinely different jobs.
Also worth noting: a company unwilling to say a route might not work. Every experienced spa crew has turned jobs down, because sometimes the fence went up after the tub did and there is no way out that does not involve taking something apart.
