We ask for photographs because they answer most questions faster and better than a description. There is a category of job where they do not, and recognising it early saves everybody a wasted morning.
Just-In-Time Moving is locally owned and moves spas across Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County.
When a look is worth it
When the clearance is marginal. If the gate and the tub are within an inch or two of each other, a photograph cannot settle it. Someone has to measure both, and small errors either way change the answer completely.
When the route has a slope you cannot see. Grade is genuinely difficult to read in a photograph. A side path that looks flat can have enough fall to matter, and on the bench and toward the canyons that is common.
When a deck or fence may need to come apart. Whether a section lifts, how it is fixed, and what is underneath are things you establish by looking and pressing rather than by photographing.
When there may be no route at all. Plenty of spas were craned in, or installed before a fence or an extension existed. Confirming that a tub genuinely cannot come out the way it went in is worth doing properly before anybody books a day.
When the destination is being built. A pad being poured, a deck under construction, an electrical supply that does not exist yet. Sequencing those is a conversation on site.
Why this suits a smaller operation
Not because larger companies will not look, but because sending somebody to assess a job that might not happen is easier when the person deciding is the person going.
It also means the assessment and the work are connected. Whoever looks at your yard is telling the crew what they found, rather than filling in a form that gets read by somebody else on the morning.
What a visit establishes
The actual narrowest dimension, measured. Whether the surface will take wheels. What has to come off and whether it can. Whether the destination is ready. And an honest answer about whether it can be done at all.
That last one is the point. We would rather tell you on a Tuesday than discover it with you on a Saturday.
