The garage, the loft, the shed and the corner of the basement nobody has opened since 2014. Doing this before the packers arrive is the cheapest hour of any move — every item cleared is an item not wrapped, carried, driven and unloaded.
Donation pickup
Furniture and household goods that still have life in them, taken to a charity rather than a landfill. We will tell you plainly which items are likely to be accepted and which are not — it depends on condition and on the charity.
Disposal
What nobody wants, removed properly. Old mattresses, broken furniture, packing debris after a move, and general clearance.

Bought something too big for the car, or from a shop that will only leave it in the driveway? We collect it and bring it into the room you actually want it in, unpacked and assembled if you like, with the packaging taken away.
Store & warehouse pickups
Costco, furniture showrooms, warehouse collections and consignment purchases. A single item or a full load — you do not need to hire a truck and find two friends for one wardrobe.
The one piece of advice worth taking
Clear out before you pack, not after you unpack
The most expensive way to deal with things you do not want is to pay to wrap them, carry them down a flight of stairs, drive them across the state and carry them back up a different flight — and then decide you do not want them.
It happens constantly, and it is entirely avoidable. An hour spent deciding what is not coming, a week before the packers arrive, comes off the volume and therefore off the quote.
It also makes the house show better if it is on the market, which matters if you are selling before you move.
Before you book
Things to tell us about in advance
- Anything hazardous — paint, solvents, chemicals, propane tanks, oil. These have their own disposal routes and cannot go on a general load.
- Appliances containing refrigerant, which have specific handling requirements.
- Tyres, batteries and electronics, which most tips take separately.
- Anything you think might be worth money. It may be worth consigning rather than dumping, and we run a consignment showroom — ask before it goes on the truck.
- Access constraints: a narrow drive, a gate, a shared bin store, or a strata that restricts skip and truck hours.

How this is quoted
Local moves are billed hourly with a crew size agreed up front. Tell us what you're moving and we'll quote it.
Removal work is quoted on the volume and what is in it, because disposal is not the same cost for every material. Deliveries are quoted on the collection point, the destination and the access. Photographs of the pile or the item usually get you a number without a visit.

Do I have to be moving to book this?
No. Cleanouts, donation runs and single-item deliveries are ordinary standalone jobs.
Will you donate what is still usable?
Where a charity will take it, yes — that is better for everyone than a landfill. What is accepted depends on the item, its condition and the charity, so we will not promise a specific outcome before seeing it.
Can you collect from Costco or a furniture showroom?
Yes. Store and warehouse pickups are regular work, including places that will only load to the kerb.
Will you assemble what you deliver?
Usually, and it is worth asking for. We can also take the packaging away, which is otherwise a boot-load of cardboard.
Can you clear a house after a bereavement?
Yes, and it is work we do regularly and carefully. It often makes sense alongside storage for what the family has not decided about, and consignment for anything with value.
How quickly can you come?
Ask — short-notice removal work is often easier to fit in than a full move. We will not promise a slot the dispatcher has not confirmed.
