Move the Safe With the House, or Separately?
It can go on the same day as everything else, or on its own. Which is cheaper depends on the job.

Background-Checked Crew
Every Just-In-Time Moving crew member is background-checked, uniformed, and trained in proper lifting, furniture protection, and customer service.
People with a safe usually assume it simply gets loaded with everything else. Sometimes that is right and sometimes it makes the whole move more expensive, and it is worth deciding deliberately rather than by default.
Just-In-Time Moving moves safes across St. George and Washington County.
Why a safe is not just another heavy item
It needs specific equipment, a crew briefed for it, and frequently more people than the rest of the job requires. It also has to be released from its anchors and re-anchored at the far end.
If a safe is included in a household move, that equipment and crew size applies to the whole day, not just the twenty minutes the safe takes.
When combining is cheaper
The safe is moderate and the route is easy. Ground floor to ground floor, no stairs, good access. Here it genuinely is another heavy item and there is no reason to make a second trip of it.
The household move already needs a large crew. If four people are coming anyway for a full house, adding the safe costs the equipment and a little time rather than a whole visit.
Both addresses are ready on the same day.
When separating is cheaper
The safe is heavy and the house is not. A small household plus a twelve hundred pound safe means paying for a large crew all day to handle one item.
Stairs are involved for the safe only. A basement safe going into a basement is a job with its own planning, and doing it on a day when a truck is waiting outside adds pressure that this particular task should not have.
The destination is not ready. If the anchor point depends on flooring being finished or a room being built out, the safe should arrive after that rather than being shifted twice.
You want it done first. Some people prefer the safe placed and anchored before the household arrives, so it is not being manoeuvred around furniture.

What we need to quote either way
The make and model, or dimensions and weight. Whether it is anchored and into what. The route at both ends, with photographs of any staircase from top and bottom. Whether the destination floor is a slab.
Weight is the main driver, then stairs, then access. A safe move quoted without that information is a guess.
The one non-negotiable
It travels empty. Contents shift as a safe is tilted, which is exactly what happens on a dolly and on stairs, and we do not transport firearms or ammunition.
Our estimate is free and in writing, and we will tell you honestly which arrangement suits your job.
