Occasionally a move is not going the way it should. Something is being handled carelessly, the pace is wrong, or you are uneasy and cannot articulate why.
Most people say nothing, because it is awkward and because they are not sure what is normal. That is the worst option, and it is worth knowing the alternatives before you need them.

Say it early, and say it specifically
Raise it at the moment rather than storing it. A specific observation is easy to act on and almost never causes offence: please could that be wrapped before it goes on, that one has a loose leg, could the runners go down before the next load.
Crews would overwhelmingly rather be told at the time. Being told at the end, or in a review, gives nobody a chance to put it right.
Vague dissatisfaction is much harder for everybody. If you can name the thing, name it.
Escalate properly if it does not change
Ask who is leading the crew and speak to them directly rather than to whoever is nearest.
If that does not resolve it, call the company. This is the reason to have a number that reaches somebody who knows about your job, and it is worth getting that number at booking rather than looking for it mid-morning.
You can stop a move
Rarely necessary and worth knowing. If you genuinely believe your property or belongings are at risk, you can ask for work to pause while you speak to the company. Nothing about the situation obliges you to watch something you think is going wrong.
Do it calmly and specifically. Ask for a pause, explain what the concern is, and call.
Document as you go
If something is damaged, photograph it then rather than later, and mention it before the crew leaves. Damage raised on the day is a conversation; found afterwards it is a dispute.
Do the final walkthrough properly: the truck, every room, the garage.

Be told. A concern raised at ten in the morning is a small adjustment. The same concern raised in a message a week later is a much worse outcome for everybody, and there is nothing to be done with it.
