Protecting a new house

If the intended room is upstairs or a few steps down into a split level, say so at booking, because it changes the crew and approach rather than only the time.

What we need to know

The type, and the make and model if you can find them, usually inside the lid or on the back. A small spinet and a full-size studio upright are meaningfully different jobs, and for a grand the length matters.

The route at both ends: stairs, any turn, door widths if marginal, and where a truck can park. Ask your builder whether a newly poured driveway is cured enough for a loaded vehicle.
