The four things people mean
An upright. The most common, and more variable than people realise. A small spinet and a full-size studio upright are meaningfully different weights. Uprights carry their mass high and toward the back, which is what makes them want to tip on a threshold or a stair nosing, and why they are moved on proper equipment and strapped rather than carried.
A grand. Larger but in some ways more predictable, because nobody mistakes it for furniture. The legs and pedal lyre come off, the case goes onto a piano board on its side, and it is wrapped and strapped there. It is a procedure, and it is the same procedure across town or across a room. For a grand, tell us the length.
An organ. Church and home organs come up regularly and they are their own problem. Many are heavier than they look, some come apart into sections and some emphatically do not, and older ones can be fragile in ways a piano is not. Tell us the make and model if you can find it.
A digital piano. Genuinely different. Most are within the range of ordinary furniture handling, and it is worth saying so rather than quoting you for a job you do not have. The stand usually comes apart, and the keyboard section should travel flat and supported rather than on edge.
What we need to know
The type, and the make and model if you can find them, usually printed inside the lid or on the back. Then the route at both ends: stairs and how many, whether there is a turn, door widths if anything looks tight, and where a truck can park.

Afterwards
An acoustic piano will need tuning after it settles, and that is true of every piano move by every company. Both the move itself and the change of room, temperature and humidity affect it. Let it sit for a while in the new place before booking the tuner, and put it against an interior wall away from vents and direct sun.
