Walk it before you call

Five things, and you can check all of them in a few minutes.

Where can a truck actually stop, and how far is that from the door? Not where you park your car. A moving truck is long and tall. Walk that route and notice how far it is, because nobody walks it carrying a dresser except on moving day.

What is overhead? This is the one that catches people out in the established neighbourhoods here, where the trees are mature. A branch that a car passes under happily can stop a truck at the entrance to a street or a driveway. If your street is heavily shaded, mention it.

What is the approach surface? Concrete, gravel, a lawn, a slope. Wheels that roll on a driveway do not roll on landscaping rock.
